This medium size pot is made with porcelain clay. It has been hand-coiled and smoked in cedar branches to give it a natural/organic color. This pot features designs of possum grapes and butterflies. Possum grapes were gathered in the Fall to make possum grape dumplings - a traditional Chickasaw dessert. The butterfly represents strength, perseverance and change.
